Our D-Buttons are a special modification we created for our friends in the fighting game community who use Sony PlayStation controllers.
One of the primary problems we had heard certain fighting games having were the unintended inputs caused by the structure of the original D-pad. Due to the circular nature and pivot point of the D-pad piece, it is possible to hit multiple inputs when intending to just hit one.
Through extensive research and development, we were able to separate the directional inputs of the D-pad and turn them each into their own unique buttons. By separating the input method, we were able to effectively eliminate the issue of unintended multi-inputs.
