Upon seeing the popularity of the C40 controller, and developed due to popular request, we created our own C40 mechanisms so that we can bring our patented Tension modifications to that controller.
We offer a default thumbstick tension value (Stock Tension) that measures around 65 gram-Force (gF) of tension as a stock replacement.
Also available for the C40 controller, there are two different Tension modifications that we offer:
- Increased Tension: around 110 gF - Nearly double that of Stock Tension, this tension value is very similar to the Original Xbox 360 controller and is our most popular tension request.
- Extreme Tension: around 160 gF - A class of its own, our Extreme Tension is designed for use with taller thumbsticks or thumbstick extenders (KontrolFreek etc.). This class of tension will make the thumbstick click (L3) or (R3) more difficult to click, as the tension will be greater within the mechanism.
All three tension values are available as replacement mechanisms.
If you are having connection and/or drifting issues with your Battle Beaver C40 mechanisms, you could try cleaning the bottom of the mechanism with alcohol to remove any dust or debris that could be causing a connection issue.
For fitment issues, sometimes there can be leftover material from having been cut. Taking a simple blade or using a pair of pliers can remove these filaments to ensure a proper fit.
